Mrs. Jeauwan Cooper McManus, 74, of Lancaster, widow of Jesse Daniel “Dan” McManus, Sr., passed away Friday, September 6, 2019 at MUSC Health – Lancaster Medical Center. She was born February 11, 1945 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late John Zedric Cooper and Pauline Missouri Roberts Cooper. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Jeauwan volunteered for Hospice, where she was volunteer of the year. She retired from Springs after 40 years of service. She loved babies and spending time with her family and friends at Lancaster County Community Center.

The family will host a memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. McManus on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Hopewell United Methodist Church with the Rev. Candice Sloan officiating.

Mrs. McManus is survived by a son, Jesse Daniel “Danny” McManus, Jr. and his wife Tracey of Great Falls; a daughter, Sylvia Diane Deese and her husband Dwight of Lancaster; two brothers, Jimmy Cooper and his wife Julia of Lancaster and Kenneth Cooper of Taylors, NC; and four grandchildren, Keith Vess, Daniel McManus, Ryan McManus and Abigail McManus. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. McManus was preceded in death by a brother, Needham Cooper.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Hopewell United Methodist Church.
